It is the intention of this page to provide a platform for all devout Christians to examine and defend the claims of scripture regardless of denomination, in order to arrive at a clear understanding of truth. John C. Evans

Book & Spade founder, John C. Evans is a student of medieval literature, an amateur political analyst, a lifelong poet, a folk musician, and a devout defender of the Christian faith. He has published over four volumes of prose and poetry. He has been a prolific advocate for the visually-impaired. He has attended many conferences exploring the strong ties between philosophy and religion, and has contributed to research dedicated to the writings of both C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien.

John has achieved a Masters in Medieval Studies at Fordham University and currently works as an adjunct professor of Media and Religion at Manhattan College and is simultaneously continuing his ministry education at seminary.

John looks forward to continuing to share content that is accessible for not only an academic audience, but for all people actively seeking the truth in their lives.
